greetings, traveller. you've reached a corner of the internet, unbeknownst to most but well-loved by those who've stumbled upon it. kick off your shoes, stay a while - there is much to explore.

a bit about this world

this is a commonplace website, a little space for its creator (known as "blue") to share little bits and pieces of herself along the way. this project is a way to break free from the limitations of social media as we know it, a way to have complete creative control over her little stake of the web. it's an experiment and a cry for more unique, personal spaces online. this site is currently under construction, and will be full of very very cool things soon, including:

records + music player
shrines to various interests (video games, physical media, interesting words)
a little library of alexandria
microblog of things blue would tweet if she still used twitter

who is blue?

blue is a twenty-something who's exhausted by the current state of the internet. she wants to be everything at once and is perpetually trying to figure out a way to accomplish this. a scientist, a philosopher, an artist, a web developer, a writer. this space is a way to express that, and hopefully to connect with others that relate to this sentiment. humans are not a monolith - we are multi-faceted beings capable of driving our own destinies. blue's belief is that you can be anything you'd like to be, and this experiment is a way to prove that.
